My brand new pattern
Viamala is a triangle shawl worked from tip to edge.
The shawl consists of a sea of twisted stitches with diamond shaped lace motifs.
Increases are worked on one side every other row.
Material
The shawl requires approx. 300 gr (696 yds / 636 m) of DK Weight Yarn
The sample shown used nearly 3 skeins of Cassiopeia by Das Mondschaf (100% 60% Wool Merino, 20% Silk, 20% Yak, 232 yds / 212 m per 100 gr). Colorway: The Ring
One US 6 / 4 mm circular needle (or size to obtain gauge), 32 “/ 80 cm or longer,
Stitch markers (optional, to keep track of the pattern repeats)

14 sts x 22 rows = 4 x 4 “/ 10 x 10 cm in stockinette stitch (after blocking)
Finished size after blocking (wingspan x depth)
