Sali (short form for Rosalia) hat and cowl are 2 quick projects.

The hat and cowl are cozy little accessoires you reach for over and over.

The cute little cables are fun to work and you do not need a cable needle!

Materials

The hat requires approx. 70 gr (150 yds / 135 m) of Worsted yarn and the cowl requires approx. 100 gr (210 yds / 292 m) of Worsted yarn

The hat sample shown used 0.7 skeins and the cowl sample shown used 1 skein of Rios by Malabrigo Yarn (Worsted, 100% Merino wool, 210 yds / 192 m per 100 gr), colorway: 862 Piedras

One US 7 / 4.5 mm dpns (or size to obtain gauge) or circular needle 16” / 40 cm for the hat and a circular needle 32 “ / 60 cm long for the cowl, stitch marker, tapestry needle, pompom for the cap (optional)

Gauge

22 sts x 27 rows = 4 x 4 “/ 10 x 10 cm in stockinette stitch (after blocking)

Finished size after blocking (circumference x height)

Hat = 18” / 45 cm (unstretched) x 9” / 22.5 cm
Cowl = 24” / 60 cm (unstretched) x 10” / 25 cm

Hallihallo, ich bin ganz schön hinterher mit meinem Blog, aber ich möchte Euch zumindest zeigen was sich patternmäßig in der Zwischenzeit getan hat.

Dela Loop & Cowl

Dela is a fully reversible Cowl / Loop.

It’s easy and fun to knit.

Play with colors.

Use a basic color and some leftovers or these sweet mini skeins offered by a lot of hand dyers.

Materials Cowl and Loop

The Cowl /Loop requires approx.: 100 gr (366 m / 400 yds) of Fingering weight yarn as a MC and 60 gr (220 m / 240 yds) in CC(s)

The Cowl shown used 1 skein Undercover Otter Merino Singles (Fingering, 100% Superwash Merino Singles, 366 m / 400 yds 100 gr), colorway Fog and 3 Mini Singles Undercover Otter Otter Pup (Fingering, 100% Superwash, Merino Singles, 73 m / 80 yds 20 gr), colorway Wicked Little Things

The Loop shown used 1 skein Steppke Single by Frida Fuchs (Fingering, 100% Merino, 366 m / 400 yds 100 gr), colorway Vanilleschote and 3 Mini Füchse – Singles by Frida Fuchs (Fingering, 100% Merino, 73 m / 80 yds 20 gr), colorway Curry

One US 4/ 3.5 mm circular needle (or size to obtain gauge), 24 inch / 60 cm, 1stitch marker, tapestry needle

Gauge Cowl and Loop

24 sts x 36 rows = 4 x 4 in / 10 x 10 cm in stockinette stitch (after blocking)

Finished Cowl size after blocking (circumference x height)

30 “ / 75 cm x 22 “ in / 55 cm

Finished Loop size after blocking (circumference x height)

56 “ / 140 cm x 14 “ in / 35 cm

You can easily adjust the size of your cowl / loop. Simply cast on more or less stitches and / or knit more or less repeats of the sections below. It’s up to you and to the yardage at hand.

 Drei Worte:  Cowl - Kaschmir - Zöpfe / Three words : Cowl  - Cashmere - Cables 

Insgesamt werden 263 yds / 240 m Garn in DK Stärke benötigt 

Cowl requires a total yardage of approx. 263 yds / 240 m of DK weight yarn

Dazu eine Rundstricknadel in Stärke 4.5 mm (oder eine andere Stärke um die Maschenteilung zu erhalten) 40 oder 60 cm lang, 1 Maschenmarkierer, eine Socken- oder Zopfmusternadel, eine Nähnadel
One US 7 / 4.5 mm circular needle (or size to obtain gauge), 16 in / 40 cm or 24 in / 60 cm long, 1 stitch marker, double pointed or cable needle, tapestry needle
