Hiya, lovely knitters !

My new shawl pattern Sylja is out now on ravelry

Sylja is a triangle shawl worked sideways from right tip to left side. 
Stitches are increased at the neck edge. 
The cables are easy to knit.


The sample shown used 3 skeins of Birch by Shibui Knits (Sport, 100% Wool – Merino, 262 yds / 240 m per 50 gr), colorway: Caffeine



Material

The shawl requires approx. 150 gr (786 yds / 720 m) of Sport / Fingering Weight Yarn
One US 4 / 3.5 mm circular needle (or size to obtain gauge), 32 “/ 60 cm or longer, 
cable needle, 
stitch marker, 
tapestry needle


Gauge
20 sts x 38 rows = 4 x 4 “/ 10 x 10 cm in stockinette stitch (after blocking)
Finished size after blocking (wingspan x depth)
70 ” / 175 cm x 28 ” / 70 cm

Sali (short form for Rosalia) hat and cowl are 2 quick projects.
The hat and cowl are cozy little accessoires you reach for over and over.
The cute little cables are fun to work and you do not need a cable needle!


Materials
The hat requires approx. 70 gr (150 yds / 135 m) of Worsted yarn and the cowl requires approx. 100 gr (210 yds / 292 m) of Worsted yarn
The hat sample shown used 0.7 skeins and the cowl sample shown used 1 skein of Rios by Malabrigo Yarn (Worsted, 100% Merino wool, 210 yds / 192 m per 100 gr), colorway: 862 Piedras
One US 7 / 4.5 mm dpns (or size to obtain gauge) or circular needle 16” / 40 cm for the hat and a circular needle 32 “ / 60 cm long for the cowl, stitch marker, tapestry needle, pompom for the cap (optional)


Gauge
22 sts x 27 rows = 4 x 4 “/ 10 x 10 cm in stockinette stitch (after blocking)



Finished size after blocking (circumference x height)
Hat = 18” / 45 cm (unstretched) x 9” / 22.5 cm
Cowl = 24” / 60 cm (unstretched) x 10” / 25 cm
