Jovita is a mindless and quick shawl pattern. You can use up some left overs and can combine as many colors as you like. 

Materials:

Approx. 500 gr / 850 yds / 775 m of Aran weight yarn

For the shawl shown here I used Quince & Co. Osprey, 1 skein in colorway Frank S Plum, 1 skein in colorway Nasturium, 1 skein in colorway Nightshade, 27 gr in colorway Storm and 17 gr in colorway Shell.

One US 10 / 6 mm circular needle, 32 " / 80 cm or longer to accomodate the large number of stitches, tapestry needle, optional: pompom maker or a fork (see below)

Set-up

Cast on 1 Stitch

Row 1: Knit into front, back and in the front again of the same stitch = 3 stitches (2 stitches increased)

Row 2: Knit into front and back of the first stitch, purl 1, knit into front and back of the last stitch =  5 stitches (2 stitches increased)

Row: 3: Knit into front and back of the first stitch, knit 1, purl 1, knit 1, knit into front and back of the last stitch = 7 stitches (2 stitches increased)

Shawl Body

Row 1 (RS): Knit into front and back of the first stitch, * purl 1, knit 1; repeat from * to last 2 stitches, purl 1, knit into front and back of the last stitch = 9 stitches (2 stitches increased)

Row 2 (WS): Knit into front and back of the first stitch, * knit 1, purl 1; repeat from * to last 2 stitches, knit 1, knit into front and back of the last stitch = 11 stitches ( 2 stitches increased)

Repeat these 2 rows throughout the shawl body, until you like the size of your shawl or you used up your yarn. Change colors as you like.

Bind Off loosely.

Block gently, add pompoms if you like and enjoy your Jovita Shawl !

I did the following color sequence:

Color Frank S. Plum, Cast On and 34 repeats of Row 1 and 2
Color Nasturium, 12 repeats of Row 1 and 2
Color Shell, 2 repeats of Row 1 and 2
Color Storm, 3 repeats of Row 1 and 2
Color Nightshade, 10 repeats of Row 1 and 2 and Bind Off

Jovita ist eine ganz einfache und schnell zu strickende Tuchanleitung. Ihr könnt dafür auch Garnreste aufbrauchen und Farben je nach Lust und Laune kombinieren. 

Ihr braucht:

Ca. 500 gr / 850 yds / 775 m Garn in Aran Stärke

Für das gezeigte Tuch habe ich das Garn Quince & Co. Osprey verstrickt und habe 1 Strang in Farbe Frank S Plum, 1 Strang in Farbe Nasturium, 1 Strang in Farbe Nightshade, 27 gr in Farbe Storm und 17 gr in Farbe Shell verbraucht. 

Eine Rundstricknadel Stärke US 10 / 6 mm circular needle, 32 " / 80 cm oder länger für die große Anzahl Maschen, eine Stopfnadel und optional einen Pompom Maker oder eine Gabel (siehe Fotos)

Start

1 Masche anschlagen

Reihe 1: Die Masche einmal von vorne, einmal von hinten und dann noch einmal von vorne rechts abstricken und dann erst von der Nadel fallen lassen = 3 Maschen (2 Maschen zugenommen)

Reihe 2: Die erste Masche von vorne und von hinten rechts abstricken (= verdoppeln), 1 Masche links, die letzte Masche verdoppeln = 5 Maschen ( 2 Maschen zugenommen)

Reihe 3: Die erste Masche verdoppeln, 1 Masche rechts, 1 Masche links, 1 Masche rechts, die letzte Masche verdoppeln = 7 Maschen ( 2 Maschen zugenommen)

Wiederholungsreihen

Reihe 1 (VS): Die erste Masche verdoppeln, * 1 Masche links, 1 Masche rechts; ab * forlaufend wiederholen bis zu den letzten 2 Maschen, 1 Masche links, die letzte Masche verdoppeln = 9 Maschen (2 Maschen zugenommen)

Reihe 2 (RS): Die erste Masche verdoppeln, * 1 Masche rechts, 1 Masche links; ab * fortlaufend wiederholen bis zu den letzten 2 Maschen, 1 Masche rechts, die letzte Masche verdoppeln = 11 Maschen (2 Maschen zugenommen) 

Für das Tuch diese beiden Reihen fortlaufend wiederholen; entweder bis Euch das Tuch groß genug ist oder bis Euer Garn aus ist. Die Farben könnt Ihr dabei nach Belieben wechseln.

Locker abketten.

Waschen, spannen und nach Belieben Pompoms anbringen. Und dann viel Freude mit Eurem Jovita Tuch !

Ich habe folgende Farbwechsel gestrickt:

Farbe Frank S. Plum, Start und 34 Wiederholungen der Reihen 1 und 2
Farbe Nasturium, 12 Wiederholungen der Reihen 1 und 2
Farbe Shell, 2 Wiederholungen der Reihen 1 und 2
Farbe Storm, 3 Wiederholungen der Reihen 1 und 2
Farbe Nightshade, 10 Wiederholungen der Reihen 1 und 2 sowie die Abkettreihe
