With a lot of easy eylet rows 

The garter border gives the shawl its “round up”

Materials

Shawl requires a total of approximately 300 gr (852 yds / 780 m) of sport weight yarn

The sample shown used 3 balls of Antigone by de rerum natura (sport, 100% Linen / Flax, 284 yds / 260 m per 100 gr), colorway: Mordore

One US 3 / 3.25 mm circular needle (or needle size to obtain gauge),one locking stitch marker, tapestry needle

Gauge

23 sts x 34 rows = 4 x 4 “/ 10 x 10 cm in stockinette stitch (after blocking)

Finished size after blocking (wingspan x depth)

88” / 220 cm x 28” / 70 cm
