my new shawl pattern Ildy

Ildy is a symetrical triangle shawl

Easy reverse stockinette sections alternate

with an attractive leaf pattern

Materials

Shawl requires a total of approximately 300 gr (820 yds / 750 m) of DK weight yarn

The sample shown used 3 skeins of TamTam DK by Frida Fuchs (DK, 65% Silk, 35% Linen / Flax, 273 yds / 250 m per 100 gr), colorway: White Pepper

One US 4 / 3.5 mm circular needle (or needle sizes to obtain gauge), 
one stitch marker, 
tapestry needle

Gauge

19 sts x 30 rows = 4 x 4 “/ 10 x 10 cm in stockinette stitch (after blocking)

Finished size after blocking (wingspan x depth)

80” / 200 cm x 30” / 75 cm

TamTam DK is such a joy to work with - even with these high temperatures - it stays cool ;-)
