Gestrickt habe ich das Tuch aus Leinenzwirn von der Firma Hirschfelder
Ich habe mal ein paar Rollen dieses Leinenzwirns gekauft, aber nur an einer Rolle war noch eine Banderole
Soweit ich weiß, gibt es die Firma Hirschfelder nicht mehr, aber sowohl auf DaWanda als auch bei Ebay werden immer mal wieder Rollen dieses Zwirns angeboten. Auf einem Kunsthandwerker Markt hier in der Nähe habe ich sie auch mal an einem Stand gesehen.
What a pretty shawl, and such a nice way to remember your trip to Sri Lanka! It's funny how the yarn doesn't make me think of shawls at all when I see the rolls, but you managed to create something so delicate and beautiful from them.

AntwortenLöschenEven when I knitted the yarn I couldn't imagine, that it will be wearable. The yarn is really stiff and rough. But after a soak it softens :-)
